الاغتسال بماء العيون

اخلعي ثوب الرمادية
واستحمي في عيوني
وتعطري بأريج عشقي
حطمي بركان الثلج
لتتحرر الشمس من محبسها
وتشرق فوق ناصيتك
وأنت تسرحين شعرك
المسترسل مع نسمات الصبا
كطيور السنونو القادم مع الربيع
تزينك بحلتها الذهبية
من شلالها المنسكب
أنهاراً وردية تروي حدائق وجنتيك
ثم دعيني أغتسل بماء الطهارة
في عينيك
لأطهر من أدران ذنوبي
وتعالى نصلي معاً
في محراب صومعتي القديمة
نرتل أسفاراً
نقشتها من وحي مأساتي
وأنا أسافر في سماء غربتي
عندما كنت أطارد هواك
تعالى ننقش طيورا على جدرانها
تقطف أزهاراً من خميلة الياسمين
المتسلقة على المحراب
تصنع لك كل يوم منها عقداً
يكلل جيدك المختال عشقا
تعالي نرتشف من روح الحياة رحيقا
ينبت حَبقاً
وعلى سطح الماء وردا
ثم نحتضن الآمال عناقاً
فيكفي ما ذقنا على المر صبراً
لندخل الجنة كما خرجنا منها قسراً

Bathing with spring water

Take off your gray robes
And bathe in my eyes
And perfume yourself with the fragrance of my love
Shatter the volcano of ice
So that the sun may be freed from its prison
And shine upon your brow
As you comb your hair
Flowing with the breezes of youth
Like swallows arriving with spring
Adorning you with its golden robes
From its cascading waterfall
Rose rivers
Watering the gardens of your cheeks
Then let me bathe in the water of purity
In your eyes
To cleanse myself from the stains of my sins
And come, let us pray together
In the sanctuary of my ancient hermitage
Reciting verses I inscribed
From the inspiration of my tragedy
As I traveled in the sky of my exile
When I pursued your love
Come, let us carve birds
On its walls
Plucking blossoms from the jasmine thicket
Climbing the sanctuary
To make for you each day a necklace
To crown your neck, proud with love
Come, let us sip from the spirit of life
Nectar that sprouts Basil
And roses on the water's surface
Then we embrace hopes in a hug
For enough of what we have tasted of bitterness, let us be patient
To enter Paradise as we were forcibly expelled from it
